ABYSMAL RECORD: Arreguin has spearheaded the expansion of police militarization through introducing pepper spray legislation, while supporting BPD collaboration with Trump's DHS through Urban Shield, and allowing BPD to continue using Pro-Trump Tech Magnate Peter Thiel's Palantir Surveillance software.
He has repeatedly moved to water down resolutions condemning police racism & fascism, while failing to provide adequate services for houseless people and continuing BPD's legacy of raiding encampments. He refuses to remove a police chief who OPENLY DENIES institutional racism in the BPD.
STOLEN ELECTION: Arreguin received more than $10,000 in illegal donations, with 18 violations unanimously determined by the FCPC, from donors with close ties to the Bank of America and Kaiser Permanente.
Berkeley's Fair Campaign Practices Commission (FCPC) meets to discuss these violations TOMORROW (Jan 18), at 7PM, at the North Berkeley Senior Center (1901 Hearst Ave) - please show up to offer your support for economic and racial justice in Berkeley city politics!
