Sensible Cinema will pay tribute to Rev. Martin Luther King by screening the film A. Phillip Randolph : Jobs For Freedom a man whose role in the American Civil Rights history has been overshadowed will get his due in this rich and powerful historical film. The film takes the viewer on a tour of 20Th century Civil Rights and Labor History as it chronicles Randolph's work.
It is hoped that the film will fill in the blanks. People who think they know A. Phillip - Randolph will learn something and people who never heard of him will be pleasantly surprised.
