STARTING PLACE: 10 a.m. @ W Briggsmore Ave & McHenry Ave

Women’s March Modesto announces plans for action on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 – ‘Hear Our Vote.’ Save the date to activate and engage in Modesto.

On January 20, 2018, we will gather at Briggsmore and McHenry Ave., Modesto, for an hour long rally. From the rally, we will march down McHenry to 5 points (Needham and J Street), turn right on Needham to Park Street, turn right and proceed to the Graceada Park Pavillion where our rally will convene.

Since the historic Women’s March on January 21, 2017, where one thousand people marched through Modesto, the DWCS has been working to broaden our movement. Like our sister actions we will focus on getting out the vote in the 2018 midterm elections. The year will focus on getting more women and allies into office and other leadership positions, with actions focused on voter registration, voter mobilization, supporting women running for office, and electing more women in more offices.
