January 20, 2018 we march again!
Women's March Contra Costa invites all community members to join us on January 20, 2018 for an Anniversary March. Stand up for democracy. March for equity, tolerance, and justice. Speak up for human rights and dignity. Whatever your reasons are, join us for this nonpartisan, peaceful, family-friendly event that is open to all.
When: Jan 20, 2018 at 10:30am - 1:00pm PST
Where: Civic Park, 1375 Civic Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, USA
Nearly one year ago, the Women’s March became the largest protest in the history of our country. We will gather again on the anniversary, in solidarity, to take a stand on issues that deeply impact all of us:. To be counted as those who believe in a world that is equitable, tolerant, just and safe for all. Where human rights and the dignity of each person is protected. Where our planet and our childrens’ future is safe from human destruction.
This is a family-friendly event. All are welcome to attend.
OUR MISSION:
Women’s March Contra Costa is a local movement dedicated to empowering, educating and mobilizing citizens of Contra Costa County to stand together in support of civil liberties and protecting our planet. As women, we stand in solidarity as the unifying force that binds families together and unites communities. Our focus is to support, educate and organize events providing meaningful connections, and to speak out against intolerance.
All community members dedicated to preserving human rights, respect for diversity and compassion for our shared humanity and planet are encouraged to participate and join together.
Through civility, compassion and respect for our planet, we are united.
