Barry Hermanson and Stephen Jaffe will speak about their challenges to Nancy
Pelosi in San Francisco CD 12.Representatives of Sister District and Swing Left will speak about opportunities to help progressive candidates outside San Francisco.

Barry Hermanson is a San Francisco Green Party County Council Member;
Organizer for Single Payer Now, and Executive Committee Member of the Sierra
Club San Francisco Group. He has co-authored San Francisco’s 2003 minimum
wage initiative, co-chaired the SF Living Wage Coalition, and served
as President of the Merchants of Upper Market and Castro.

Stephen Jaffe is an attorney and lifelong Democrat who practices employment
law for employees only. He is president and co-founder of the South Beach
District 6 Democratic Club and spearheaded a citywide initiative to ensure that
every Democratic club discloses its donors. In 2016, he was recruited by the
Sanders national campaign to legally supervise the chaotic caucuses in Nevada.

Sister District is a network of local teams focused on channeling the efforts of
volunteers from deeply blue (or red) districts toward critical down-ballot state
races.

Swing Left helps you find and commit to supporting progressives in your closest
Swing District, places where the winner of the last House of Representatives
election was determined by a thin margin.

Cosponsored by San Francisco Progressive Democrats of America and San Francisco Berniecrats
