Attorney with Jerry Moberg & Associates gave $300 to David Duke’s failed Senate campaign

Public records reveal that James Edyrn Baker, an attorney with Jerry Moberg & Associates PS, in Ephrata, WA., contributed $300 to David Duke’s failed Senate campaign during 2016.

According to wikipedia, David Ernest Duke (born July 1, 1950) is an American white nationalist, politician, antisemitic conspiracy theorist, Holocaust denier, convicted felon, and former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

The recent violent white supremacist rally that David Duke attended in Charlottesville, resulted in blood in the streets of Charlottesville, and the death of Heather Heyer when she was run down by an alleged Nazi sympathizer while she was protesting against the KKK, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists. Reportedly, 19 others were injured when the Nazi sympathizer plowed into a crowd of peaceful demonstrators.

As a proud supporter of David Duke, according to the website for Jerry Moberg & Associates PS, “James “Jim” Baker was raised in the Ephrata area.  He is a graduate from Gonzaga University Law School where he was active on the Gonzaga Law Review.  He practiced for several years in Yakima and Seattle primarily handling Medical Malpractice cases for injured patients.  He started with JM&A in 2005.  Jim is a talented litigator and a relentless advocate.  Jim is experienced in claims involving personal injuries, wrongful death, medical negligence, and commercial litigation.”

Additionally, according to their website, “Jerry Moberg & Associates opened its doors on January 1, 2014.  For the previous 12 years the firm had devoted its talents exclusively to representing cities, counties and school districts in various risk pools managed by Canfield now Clear Risk Solutions. The attorneys of JM&A now bring their passion and considerable litigation experience to small businesses, ranchers, farmers and individuals in Eastern Washington and throughout the state in need of high quality representation at a fair price.”

Records with the Washington State Bar Association reveal that James Edyrn Baker’s member status is active, and that he was admitted to the bar in 1979.

The City of Ehprata, is located in Grant County, Washington, and James Baker is also a Grant County Precinct Committee Officer, for the Republican Party.

According to public records, Baker also contributed $184.58 to Donald Trump in 2016. The address listed for his campaign contribution to Trump, matches the address listed on the campaign contribution records to David Duke.

Active in many cases with the law firm of Jerry Moberg & Associates PS, it is not clear if Jerry Moberg & Associates P.S., or their clients know that attorney James Baker is a proud campaign contributor to David Duke’s failed Senate campaign of 2016.

The businesses connected to others who have been outed recently for making campaign contributions to David Duke’s failed 2016 Senate campaign, including Roger Grigsby, owner of O’meil restaurant in Santa Cruz, and Julius De Roma, owner of Clubhouse Jager in Minneapolis, did not fare too well according to a recent report by Newsweek, and the New York Times.

Roger Grigsby and Julius De Roma faced a boycott and employees refusing to work for them any longer after it was revealed that they each made a $500 campaign contribution to David Duke’s failed Senate campaign in 2016.

Roger Grigsby was originally outed as a proud campaign contributor to David Duke in an article on Indybay, in addition to Julius De Roma, who was also originally outed as a proud supporter and campaign contributor to David Duke in a different story on Indybay, a community news site in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Both business owners were also outed in an original story that appeared in the San Francisco Bay View Newspaper, and the mainstream media followed suit with their own stories as the boycotts occurred and the longtime establishments reportedly have been shut down.
