"We Built America" DACA Youth, Labor & Community Rally Against Immigrant Bashing In SF

Over 1,000 people rallied on 9/5/17 at the San Francisco Federal Building to call for defense of DACA youth many of whom are students. The protest came after Trump and his racist attorney general Jeff Sessions rescinded DACA threatening the deportation of 800,000 DACA youth. Contingents also attended from Unite Here Local 2. Participants protested the attack on DACA youth and all immigrant bashing by Trump and the politicians. The DACA youth demanded their rights and were speaking out openly about their issues. Others talked about the history of racism and slavery in the United States and the struggle for democratic rights.
