Arreguin's vote to continue Urban Shield shows he would rather accept funding from Trump's Department of Homeland Security to further the militarization of BPD than represent the will of the people, who overwhelmingly (100-1) spoke against Berkeley's continuation in this program.

BPD has a proven history of racial profiling and a police chief who openly denies this, yet Arreguin has offered empty rhetoric instead of addressing the issue by appointing a Police Chief who is not in open denial, which RunningWolf would do effective immediately.

Arreguin's campaign advocated MORE POLICE and more foot patrols in "high crime areas," while claiming the endorsement of Black Lives Matter. Since when is that BLM's platform? RunningWolf campaigned for an end to police brutality, racial profiling, and BPD's partnership with Palantir, the surveillance company run by Trump's closest tech advisor (Peter Thiel).

Zachary RunningWolf was held as a political prisoner for 31 days during his Berkeley Mayoral Campaign after being targeted by OPD for protesting Prison Slavery during last year's Urban Shield "exercise," and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession (NO BAIL) based on evidence collected by the CHP 6 months earlier earlier.
