Sunday Morning at the Marxist Library
Essentials of Scientific Socialism: A Continuing Series
“Clarity about the aims and problems of socialism is of greatest significance in our age of transition.” Einstein’s comment remains true in our age of transition, when the growing interest in socialism has not led to greater clarity about socialism. This workshop, led by Gene Ruyle, a researcher at the ICSS, will focus on study and discussion of the classics of scientific socialism. This week, we will continue with our annual reading of The Communist Manifesto, with special attention paid to the Centennial of the Russian Revolution, 1917-2017. In preparation, participants are urged to read, or re-read, this important document.

About Sunday Morning at the Marxist Library
A weekly discussion series inspired by our respect for the work of Karl Marx and our belief that his work will remain as important for the class struggles of the future as they have been for the past.
