A Grassroots Review of the Trump Regime’s First 100 Days
A Wide Open Discussion of What Comes Next
Featuring local grassroots leaders and YOU
Confirmed discussion leaders to date
Charlotte Casey – CODE PINK San Jose / Kim Hunter – Silicon Valley Courageouos Ressistance / Paul George – Director, Peninsula Peace and Justice Center … others to be announced
Corporate media is chock full of analyses of Donald Trump’s first 100 days in the White House. What’s missing in this sea of ink is the voice of grassroots activists – the people who have been marching and picketing and writing letters and showing up at town hall meetings … in protest of Trump’s policies. How do they, how do you, rate these 100 days?
Even more importantly, how do we go beyond resistance to laying out and pursuing an alternative, progressive vision for the country and the planet?
Our plan for this month’s Other Voices forum is to have a wide open conversation about the past 100 days and the next 3+ years. There will not be an “audience” this time around … rather, it will be a roomful of participants. So come with your ideas and suggestions for how to move from resistance to revolution.
Some suggested reading … Public Citizen - Trump’s First 100 Days: A Wholesale Corporate Takeover of Government / Mother Jones - Trumpocracy: Tracking the Creeping Authoritarianism of the 45th President
YOU are an important part of every Other Voices forum.
The forum really is a conversation. So come prepared to ask questions or share your opinions.
