Borders in Central America
The Impact of U.S. Policy

The U.S. prescription for the root causes of migration are the same things that are causing it – continued U.S. economic intervention and militarism. The model of U.S. border militarization is being exported to Central America with deadly results. CISPES sent a national delegation to El Salvador from April 23- May 4th to explore these issues.

We invite you to come hear a report back from
Our very own Bay Area participants
Including Allan and Ana Fisher, and Win-Mon Kyi

* Hear about the impacts of US immigration policy, including deportation and border militarization.

* Further understand the current social, economic, and political context in El Salvador and the consequences of US policy.
