Max was falsely arrested at 10:3 based on a warrant filed by Sgt Forbus, with the court after midnight after the arrest not before. Also Forbus wrote in the document "he obstructed an officer in the line of duty" but the idiot wrote the wrong code and the court wrote "the warrant was for resisting arrest." (Forbuses seem to have a problem with getting their codes correct. Doesn't a warrant precede an arrest. Isn't the defendant of a warrant usually notified so they can volunteer to turn themselves in? I guess Santa Cruz police don't believe in following laws and proper procedures dictated by the US Bill of Rights.

Well it was confirmed and documented with the FBI. They confirmed Max's civil rights were violated! Should be interesting to see if the DA Rosell will uphold the constitution's Bill of Rights or dig himself deeper into the pile of crap with SCPD?

Anyways Max has himself a good case for suing the SCPD and city for false arrest and civil rights violations. Word on the street is he has a few attorneys sniffing around. A lot of us would love to see a victory against the corrupt city, police and DA.

Hopefully someone will post the date of Max's pre-trial hearing and/or his trial. I assume he'll be waiting for an hour and a half and then plead "not guilty" in Department 2 after which the judge will set a date for subsequent trial and pre-trial if he wants one.
