One week after the timely and robust show of solidarity marching against the cult of exceptionalism and "Make America great again" fear-mongering, come along on a walking tour that proposes a trajectory for social good that emphasizes material economic analysis of Trumpism's power.

The walk is not a Marxist screed. It does survey San Francisco social movement history, identifying security-in-geography as a central concern of all movements to alleviate oppressive circumstances. And quite topically the walk fingers Trump's normalized privilege in deriving income from mere ownership of desirable pieces of nature as the origin of his power. In fact, the walk lays out the argument that frankly addressing the economic meaning of what is meant by, as Woody Guthrie put it, "this land is your land" is key to understanding the dynamics of power (and oppression).
