PDA-San Francisco presents a free public forum:
The AfterBern: What comes next after the Sanders campaign?
Impressive as the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign was, it may have been the easy part. The question we face now is whether we can keep it going.
At our October Forum, we will hear reports from five separate new organizations that hope to do just that:
San Francisco Berniecrats which seeks to involve Sanders campaigners in local politics
In Solidarity, a network of mostly west coast Sanders activists
Bay Area for Bernie, the umbrella group that coordinated local Sanders activities
Our Revolution, the “official” campaign spin-off that is backing candidates and ballot questions nationwide
Brand New Congress, an organization started by former campaign staffers that aims to run as many as 400 congressional candidates across the nation in 2018
