The Third Annual Howard Zinn Book Fair welcomes over 60 publishers and 100 authors for a powerful day of People’s History, past present and future.
Speakers include: Cleve Jones (When We Rise, My Life In the Movement)Emory Douglas (former Black Panther Party Minister of Culture, and artist); Walidah Imarisha (Angels With Dirty Faces, Octavia’s Brood); Tamara Draut (Demos editor, Sleeping Giant: How the New Working Class Will Transform America); Peter Linebaugh (The Incomplete, True, Authentic and Wonderful History of May Day); Michelle Gonzales (The Spitboy Rule: Tales of a Xicana in a Hardcore Band) Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor (From #blacklivesmatter to Black Liberation) AK Thompson (Keywords For Radicals), TJ English (The Savage City, Havana Nocturne), and Alex Cox (Film Director and Writer of Walker).
