Join Coastal Watershed Council and Santa Cruz’s City Arborist Leslie Keedy in an exploration of the trees of the San Lorenzo River. Learn about native and non-native growth, the ecological function of trees along a riparian corridor and the work of the arborists and the Parks department in maintaining our urban forest. Please wear closed toed shoes and necessary sun protection in this hour and half long walk along the Santa Cruz Riverwalk. Meeting information upon RSVP. RSVP by calling (831) 464-9200.
