Veterans for Peace thank Colin Kaepernick
STATEMENT FROM
VETERANS FOR PEACE, EAST BAY CHAPTER 162
IN SUPPORT OF COLIN KAEPERNICK
We wish to thank and honor Colin Kaepernick and other courageous athletes who've been protesting against the injustice which comes in so many forms, including widespread murder with impunity by officers of the law. This injustice nearly always comes wrapped in the flag and is deceitfully imposed in the name of patriotism.
These athletes, acting in the tradition of Mohammed Ali, the 1968 Olympics champions John Carlos and Tommie Smith, and others less known though no less courageous, put their promising careers at risk. They're facing many forms of pressure, slander, verbal abuse and even death threats.
We remember the long unfinished history of the struggle for freedom and justice in our country. These athletes are keeping those American ideals alive. They deserve our respect and support.
in solidarity,

ON THE U.S. NATIONAL ANTHEM
iT IS written by a slaveholder, an owner of slaves. Next it is written extolling bombs and rockets bursting in air, when it should making sounds for saving the ecological organic and inorganic balances of the web-of-life on the U.S. soil and mother natures worldwide livability.
Bombs bursting in air is counter all the web-of-life.
You all have a world to win as of yet. End pollution causing diseases from fossil fuel wars of destruction.
Twice the U.S. military invaded Canada once in 1775 and again in 1812, from which the U.S. National Anthem was written. The Canadian people united and defeated the U.S aggressors. We do not want slave owning armies in our country, nor do we want war mongering neighbors lying that aggressive wars cause liberation as we know the free working classes are are hope for a just and modern society. Canadians built Canada and they wish to own and control Canada. Not for foreign owners to run us into poverty while exploiting our resources and freedoms and independence. We need for instance our railways returned to Canadian ownership, and out of American Imperialist control. We want peace with justice, not endless war after war. after war done by America to which the sellouts following the American baton bring blame to the Canadian Peoples for the American war crimes they are committing day after day at the expense of our environment and destruction of the web-of-life globally.
You yet have a world to win!! End pollution causing fossil fuels and retool to renewable energy such as wind, tidal, and solar power that transforms to electricity and is more power than all fossil fuels combined.
Double democracy in America and elect women equally. Gender parity brings back harmony and joy of the specie, when woman can access half the law making perannum. Workers of the world unite!!
Big Nations beside Canada are upset by a slaving country glorifying bombs and rockets bursting in air especially as they were killing Canadian civilians and recking Canadian society. Seeing that the bombs bursting in air around the world still done by the U.S. Military and glory by making Americans bet their lives on a slaveholder poems is scary stuff for Canadians, Mexicans, and the colored peoples of the North and South continents in the U.S. backyard.
Not to mention the millions of people being killed by bombs and rockets bursting in air throughout Asia, Africa, and South continent and central latin language countries even now as foreign policy of the empire of the U.S.A. We the peoples of the world wish for more than a slaveholders aggressive war glorying. We need resistance to such ideology worldwide and a liberation song to be written for the workers and colored people of the world. You yet have a world to win!! Solidarity to Colin Kaepernick!! Workers of the world unite!!
