FREE event, but ticket to Alcatraz Island is $11 (children under 5 are free)
The Pier 33 ticket office opens at 4:30 am, boats run to island at 5 am, 5:15 am and 5:45 am.
Speakers will include:
Radley Davis (Pit River Nation)
Bill Means (Oglala Lakota)
Faith Gemmill (Gwich’in/Wintu)
Andrea Carmen (Yaqui Nation)
MC Morning Star Gali (Pit River Nation)
There will be an Ohlone Welcome, All Nations Drum, Intertribal Ohlone-Pomo dancers and updates on protecting sacred lands from California, Standing Rock and Alaska.
Wheelchair accessable. Absolutely NO drugs or alcohol of any kind. Smoking only in designated areas. No sales permitted.
