The evidence is clear: SFPD is badly broken, and is in need of transformational change. The Blue Ribbon Panel on Accountability studied SFPD and made recommendations for change. Our Community Conversation will engage citizens, and unite voices to ensure that change occurs.

I'd like to learn why this meeting doesn't include holding corrupt DA George Gascon accountable? Yeah, the SFPD has major problems and needs to change but an equally large issue is the fact that Gascon has not charged a single cop with killing a civilian.
Since he was appointed DA, there have been 18 civilians killed by SFPD officers and 39 cops have been named in the deaths, yet not one indictment from Gascon.
Yet, the director of his charade of a blue ribbon panel and his chief of staff are on the panel. Why isn't this panel pursuing accountability of more than just the SFPD? When will the police accountability group widen its agenda to also target the DA's office?
Gascon must love that community energy is never focused on him and that this panel's agenda is only looking at cops and avoiding putting the spotlight on him and his lack of indictments.
I imagine Gascon smiles knowing he's playing community activists quite well, and that his manipulation prevents weekly protests at his office or inclusion of holding him to account at such forums.
Click here to read the names of the 39 cops involved in the 18 civilian deaths, then ask why Gascon won't indict them:
