Court Case
The “motion to dismiss” for the Moore family’s court case is set for Friday, Sept 23. During the “motion to dismiss,” the judge decides whether they will hear or dismiss the case. After three years of waiting, we want this case to be heard. We need to pack the courtroom on September 23 to let the judge know that we remember Kayla Moore and that we want justice for Kayla’s family.
Friday, 9/23: Arrive 9 a.m. Hearing begins 10 a.m. Phillip Burton Federal Building, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, Floor 17, Courtroom 6, Judge Breyer’s Courtroom, San Francisco, CA 94102.
9am (coffee & food) / 10am (hearing)
If the judge decides to hear the case, the trial is set to begin Monday, Oct 17. We will need folks to show up in the courtroom and provide court support including food and drink to keep us going, carpools to the courtroom, etc.
