Join the Watershed Project at Albany Bulb during the 32nd annual California Coastal Cleanup Day!
Join volunteers across California, and the world, in protecting our coasts from trash in the largest annual volunteer event globally. Last year 68,000 volunteers all over the state joined together to pick up 1,142,997 pounds of trash and recyclables, resulting in 572 fewer tons of trash in our creeks and shorelines. You too can help make a difference! Join the Watershed Project at Albany Bulb to participate in Coastal Cleanup Day.
Supplies: All cleanup supplies are provided – bag or bucket, gloves, data card, pencil, etc. However, we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable bucket and/or gloves.
Safety: Please wear close-toed shoes to protect your feet. Be sure to wear a hat and/or sunscreen to protect you against the sun. Bring a (reusable!) water bottle to keep yourself hydrated.
