As the world’s most demonized country, it is all but impossible for people in the West to even imagine the realities of daily life in North Korea. Sharat G. Lin, who visited the isolated nation in 2015, brings unprecedented images of a vastly different system. He will share his insights on a people who have built a unique society and economic system owing, in part, to their unique history.
Dr. Lin is a research fellow at the San José Peace and Justice Center and a writer and lecturer on global political economy.
