Local 521 hosted an endorsement forum of all the Santa Cruz City Council candidates!
I was in attendance and taking pictures on behalf of Drew Glover for Santa Cruz City Council.
The Services Employee International Union (SEIU) Local 521 hosted an endorsement forum of all the city council candidates minus Jim Davis who didn't show up. There were labor and other city-issue questions from the moderators for all the candidates and responses averaged 45 seconds to a minute. The SEIU is currently in talks post-forum about the four candidates they are going to endorse.
