While Bernie Sanders has now endorsed Clinton, his campaign has served to revive the issue of socialism for millions of people. What is socialism? How would a socialist system be different from the one we live under now?

And, though Sanders is out, there is still a socialist candidate running for president this year. Gloria La Riva is a revolutionary socialist who militantly stands with workers, communities victimized by police murder, undocumented immigrants, women, LGBTQ and other oppressed people. La Riva’s running mate in California is Dennis Banks, co-founder of American Indian Movement.

Y, aunque Sanders está fuera, todavía hay una candidata socialista participando para presidenta este año. Gloria La Riva es una socialista revolucionaria que representa militantemente a los trabajadores, las comunidades víctimas de asesinato policial, los inmigrantes indocumentados, mujeres, personas LGBTQ y otras gentes oprimidas. Su compañero de fórmula en California es Dennis Banks, cofundador del Movimiento Indígena Americano.
