In THE SEASONED LIFE Ayesha Curry invites readers into the home she has made with her two daughters and her husband, NBA superstar Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Ayesha knows firsthand what it is like to be a wife and busy mother of two, and she knows that for her family, time in the kitchen and around the table is where the balance of mellow, nurturing relations occurs. Her new book, "The Seasoned Life: Food, Family, Faith & The Joy of Eating Well" has been praised by Rachel Ray, famed SF restaurant chef Michael Mina, and many others. After conversing with KPFA's Linda Khoury and answering audience questions, Ayesha will sign copies of her book.

Why is this garbage here? This is just another promotional for stuffing one's face, promoting obesity, in a society that is 35% obese (including this writer, who does not stuff the face, always counts calories and reads labels, avoids soda pop and greasy food and avoids cooking whenever possible, but most obesity is from excess eating). It also glorifies the reactionary motherhood, Kinder, Kuche, Kirche (children, kitchen, church) routine that Nazi Germany glorified, to promote breeding more cannon fodder for its war machine, and generally, to make women subservient. The gambling racket gladiator athlete basketball player husband, Stephen Curry, has a net worth of $14 million. What is it that you think is so wonderful about millionaires? Why are you promoting endless cooking, eating, ad nauseum?
