Drew Glover for Santa Cruz City Council Fund raising event held Wednesday July 27, 2016
This was one of the early fund raisers that will be held for Drew! I would personally like to thank everyone who turned out for this event, especially Suzanne Williams who so graciously opened her home to us for this event! I also want to thank Kelsey Hill who help me a lot with this posting!
Drew Glover, 30, is one of the ten candidates running for the four open seats on the Santa Cruz city council. Born and raised in Santa Cruz by a single mother, Drew is involved in many different organizations and activist communities. Notably, he founded and directed Project: Pollinate — a local non-profit focused on environmentalism and community building — and is the current vice president of the United Nations Association. Running on a progressive platform, his campaign centers on sustainability, affordability, and inclusion in local politics.
Wednesday night, Drew held a fundraiser on Windham street, hosted by supporter Suzanne Williams. Among the food, drink, and conversation, Drew discussed his platform and ways to become involved with the campaign.

for too long Santa Cruz has been run by wealthy people who are little Trumps caring about their own personal interests only. tenants and beach flats and the environment homeless have no voice in city hall.
I'd like to see Drew and a few others take back our city from the republican slime who call themselves democrats.
