Gloria La Riva, Party for Socialism and Liberation Presidential candidate, was arrested and jailed along with hundreds of Baton Rouge community residents and other activists in a massive police suppression of peaceful protests against the murders of Alton Sterling , Philando Castile and other victims of racist police violence.
Following her eyewitness presentation there will be a discussion of the growing movement against police brutality in the Bay Area and across the country.
