Sonia Barrett's 77-minute groundbreaking documentary, The Business of Disease, is about the power of self-healing and the forces aligned to prevent people from exploring a holistic approach to healing. The film presents a compelling case for individuals to be self-aware and take control of their overall health and healing. The filmmakers approach the problem of illness from a standpoint that encompasses the mind, the body, and the spirit, as well as science, in order to explore the many different avenues people can follow to lead to a longer life, wellbeing and health. The film premiered at the Lammele Theatre in North Hollywood in 2014.
This screening is sponsored by Anchored In Spirit and Levy Events, which are working to educate, empower and improve the health, wellbeing, and state of mind of individuals and communities through art and events.
