Lively music and festivities will help you get into the patriotic spirit listening to some blues!
Allison Boyd, Registered Dietician and Certified Yoga Instructor shared her vision for the return of live Blues during the 2016 4th of July Weekend. Together, a broader community builds upon her love for America’s Heritage Music she enjoyed while working her way through San Francisco State University at Lou’s Blues Café. Named for founder Laura "Lou" Gillespie, Lou's Pier 47 continues to draws both Fisherman's Wharf global tourists, top shelf blues artists and regional blues fans.
Early Spring 2016, we started an amazing journey to create a free community first year event at the Stockton Waterfront. Many seasoned Stocktonians have shared memories of past festivals of live blues music, enjoying a summer afternoon with a gentle delta breeze.
Westrec Marinas, Bay Yachts, Ebony Boat Cub along with UC Yoga, Health and Wellness have come together to form a good foundation to build a sustainable, quality Red, White and Blues Festival for years to come.
Our inaugural festival musicians include Debbie Frazier Smith and the Blue Diamond Band, Darell Stanley and the Silverlining, Roharpo and the Real Blues Band and a host of local Blues favorite musicians who will keep you dancing throughout the day and early evening.
Our free community celebration features good food, craft vendors, a beer and wine garden to support some of the best Blues musicians from throughout Northern California.
Join us at the Stockton Waterfront Marina, 333 Tuleburg Levee, Stockton, CA an experience not to be missed…
