" A Tough Act To Follow" through humor and honesty highlights the issues surrounding homophobia and sexism in comedy. It also discusses the lack of opportunities afforded to minorities in mainstream entertainment and follows the experiences of Sampson McCormick (Sampson) a black, LGBT stand up comedian and writer as he navigates through the challenges of show business. It features several notable television, stage and film entertainers and is co-produced by Emmy Award winning director Todd Clark.
