What kinds of transportation do we want in San Francisco five, ten or twenty years from now? How do we ensure that it meets the needs of all communities, not just the young, wealthy, and able-bodied? What is the best way to reduce the carbon footprint of local transportation?
Speakers include Jason Henderson, author of STREET FIGHT, and professor of Geography, SF State.
Many SF residents work 60 miles south, and many SF workers commute the same to get here.
What seems lacking is comprehensive planning that weighs costs and benefits from each change, and planning a cohesive system.
How have Zurich and London addressed these issues?
