Hunger Strikers & Workingclass March on SF City Hall
At least 5 days ago, the Democrat mayor Ed Lee and everyone else knew the 5 Hunger Strikers sitting at the Mission Police Station for almost 2 weeks would be arriving at City Hall on 5/3/16 at 1 p.m. with supporters, who numbered at almost 1,000 people to ask the mayor to fire Police Chief Suhr for justifying numerous police murders.

When they and their workingclass supporters arrived, they were told the mayor was not there. When they went to the 2 p.m. Board of Supervisors meeting, they were held in contempt by the 11 Democrats who sit on the Board of Supervisors, who actually argued with the 5 Hunger Strikers in wheelchairs. The whole world watched on Twitter and our computers and again found that the Democratic Party has nothing to offer the workingclass. The mayor, a lawyer, could not even be bothered to negotiate some compromise so that the hunger strikers could go home to eating decent meals. The Democratic Party and its twin, the Republican Party, need to leave San Francisco immediately.
This extraordinary march led by the 5 Hunger Strikers in wheelchairs is told in words, photos and videos at

The various twitter accounts we followed are #hungerforjusticesf, #frisco5, and #FireChiefSuhr.
This writer can remember some 55 years of protests in San Francisco with none being so clearly of, by and for the workingclass as this one. The police are clearly paid, professional killers and the entire $576 million a year police department needs to be abolished and all that money transferred to the housing and social services departments to house the 7,000 homeless and provide social services to the workingclass to survive in this backward society.
The press is making much of the presidential election farce but the reality is, all politics are local. Republican Donald Trump, who was a Democrat for most of his voting years, is no different from Democrat Ed Lee, who has the same contempt for the workingclass. It takes an ice cold person to refuse to even meet with the Hunger Strikers at City Hall.
The battle cry of the Warsaw Ghetto Resistance applies to San Francisco:
Never forgive; never forget.
