Strike Action, Wednesday April 27, all day!
This is a historic strike, the first in the 30 years of AFT 2121. We are excited that the
Department Chairs Council, the SEIU local, and Associated Students have all voted to
join the strike, which is also endorsed by the SF Labor Council—this is a union town!
Pickets will be taking place at all campuses and all around the main Ocean Campus.
We strongly discourage anyone from crossing a picket line for any reason. Please tell
friends, family, and students about the issues.
Bring your friends and family and plan to stay as long as possible from 9:30 am to 7:30
pm, and wear a union or solidarity tee shirt! Chant sheets, songs and picket signs will be
provided. At Ocean, parking is available in the reservoir. (The strike is entirely legal as
the union has filed an unfair labor practices report with the state.)
Stand together in solidarity, one-day strike for a fair contract and for the City College San
Francisco deserves!
