Community of Watsonville and surrounding communities come join us on Saturday April 2nd on the corner of Main St. and Clifford at the Target Shopping Center to stand in Solidarity with the farmworkers of San Quintín and Washington state as they make this historic journey to unionize and try to dismantle the oppression they are facing in the fields. Both Target and FoodMax sell Driscoll's berries and have failed to acknowledge the boycott. The shopping center also has tried to silence our voices as consumers. Let's show them that our voices will not be silenced as we stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers facing unbearable conditions in the fields. Viva San Quintín!!
Respects,
Watsonville Brown Berets
Exposing Driscoll's for what they are. A union busting, slave wage corporation which exploits our people in the fields. Slave wages, modern day child slavery, pesticide and hazardous chemicals being exposed to the people who pick your food. Sexual assaults and rape in the fields to the women. Sex trafficking of Indigenous women from different parts of Mexico, inadequate housing, bathroom breaks, and bathrooms. Modern day slavery. Racism, sexism and oppression of our people in the fields. No health services when it comes to medical, dental and vision. Boycott Driscoll's! Vote with your money. We don't want your blood berries!
