"Fundi" is a Swahili word meaning a person who passes skills from one generation to the next. Ella Baker, was a friend and advisor to Martin Luther King, Jr., and was known as the godmother of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Commitee. Baker's role in the American civil rights movement is chronicled in this documentary.
