Eyewitness Syria

The Western/Saudi/Israeli demand for "regime change" in Syria is leading to ever more bloodshed and risking potential world war. What is the conflict really about? How has Western propaganda distorted the conflict? Rick Sterling will discuss the findings of his recent trips in Oct-Nov 2015 and April 2014. He will give an analysis of the forces driving the conflict and what must be done to end it.

Rick Sterling has supported struggles against imperialism and for justice in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East since the early 1970s. He is currently on the boards of Mt. Diablo Peace and Justice Center in Walnut Creek and the Task Force on the Americas in Marin. He has written for ConsortiumNews, Counterpunch and Dissidentvoice.
