Where is Woods' Stabbing Victim? Who is Chief Suhr?

One point raised at the very informative 12/9/15 Police Commission Hearing on the execution of Mario Woods of 12/2/15, seen online at http://www.sfgovtv.org/index.aspx?page=88 and SF residents' TV Cable Channel 26 or 78, is that we have yet to hear from the stabbing victim, of Mario Woods, and have yet to see the knife in Woods' hand in a video. The Democrats' Police Chief Suhr who described this illegal execution as following protocol was also condemned in that hearing by the brother of Mark Garcia who was murdered by the SF police with pepper spray in 1996 under the supervision of Greg Suhr, then in charge of the Mission Station. Suhr was also indicted in the infamous Fajitagate scandal of 2003.

Mario Woods was well-known to the police since he was on the real estate developers' "gang list" before he went to prison. It appears that this stabbing victim story is a lie because it has not been verified. The police trapped Woods, preventing him from leaving the scene which he wanted to do. They kept shooting him after he was down, firing some 25 shots. There are 5 police who have been named as the shooters and they and Chief Suhr must be fired immediately.

The next step, or simultaneously, we need to demand the abolition of the police department since it serves no worthwhile purpose and drains our city budget of millions of dollars in salaries, cars, weapons and lawsuits. The police are not social workers; they are the armed thugs of the capitalist class whose sole purpose is to terrorize the workingclass to prevent labor organizing. If the police department cannot be abolished outright, we can demand their salary be cut down to $30,000 a year, about the same as the poor people who experience most of their terrorism, and that will certainly cause the entire police department to disappear. Currently, the chief makes over $300,000 a year and about the same in benefits, including a 90% of salary pension, and the cops make over $100,000 a year plus the same in benefits, with some making $166,000 a year. At best, all they do is drive their cars, motorcycles and motorbikes round and round our small 49 square mile city. We pay for all the vehicles, gasoline, expensive clothing and helmets, plus the weapons. If Woods actually had a knife, he could have been disarmed by basic self defense. No weapon is needed to disarm a person with a knife.

We now have a death squad in San Francisco known as the San Francisco police, supported by the Democratic Party and Republican Party, both the parties of the real estate industry. Only Peace & Freedom Party and the Green Party oppose death squads, police terrorism, arming the police with anything, and the outrageous high salaries for police. We currently have a crisis in retaining bus drivers who are hired at much less than $30 per hour so that they make basically minimum wage for 5 years until they get $30 per hour, which is not enough to pay the rent for a family in San Francisco. Some 80% of San Francisco bus drivers do not live in San Francisco. The money that goes to the police department should instead go to pay Muni bus drivers much more than $30 per hour, and pay for all social services and job training the workingclass needs, as well as to house the homeless in decent housing.
