Together we will celebrate the rich and many-layered fall traditions of our region. Artist Emma Gomez will bring sugar skulls to decorate and an altar to lost loved ones, ancestors, and community members. Bring something to place on the altar to honor those who have come before. Possible contributions include photos, notes, flowers (marigolds are traditional), and food and drinks.
There will also be:
- performance by Aztec dance troupe Cuauhtli Mitotiani Mexica
- arts and craft stations
- face painting
- costume making
- cooking demo
- and more!
