Attend the city of Palo Alto's first Community Forum: Domestic Violence-It Couldn't Happen Here, Could It?

Come hear a panel of experts, moderated by Mayor Karen Holman, discuss domestic violence in Palo Alto and the Peninsula of Santa Clara County. Ask questions, learn about resources, and find out what we can do to end domestic violence in our community.

This event is open to all communities since domestic violence affects spouses and families across the socioeconomic spectrum.

The 7-member panel will discuss the psychological, legal, cultural and economic challenges facing domestic violence victims and answer attendees' questions.

Attendees will be able to connect with 10 local advocacy agencies and get their questions answered, whether they are in an abusive relationship or know someone who is.

Santa Clara County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, head of the Intimate Partner Violence Taskforce, will deliver the keynote address.
