BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
Celebrate all the creatures of our earth!
This ritual affirms respect for all life, reminding us that we are a part of the interdependent web of all existence. This symbolic blessing continues the tradition of Francis of Assisi, our City's namesake and patron of the animals and the environment.
Rev. John Buehrens, Senior Minister will give a brief homily:
"Francis of Assisi and the Extinction of Species"
