Here was our pre-show blurb about the 8-28-15 Street Heat radio show:
Bryson White is a community organizer for Faith in Community and will be on the show to talk about their efforts towards a more just, compassionate, equitable and thriving city of Fresno. White will talk about FIC’s big event earlier this week in Southwest Fresno on police accountability and what you can do next week that will make a difference on the issue of criminal justice.
There are big changes taking place at the Community Alliance, the alternative/independent newspaper in Fresno. Hannah Brandt, who will begin as the new editor in September, will join us to talk about the transition and the future of the paper.
Kevin Hall will talk about Air Quality, environmental justice and give us hope for the future. What is there to feel hopeful about? Tune in and find out.
Pam Whalen is the host and Mike Rhodes is the producer and board operator.
