12:00 pm "Montana de Luz (Mountain of Light)" – Cuban doctors’ international missions in Latin America and Africa. 53min. 2005

1:30 pm "Fidel"– documents the life of Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution. Directed by Estela Bravo, 91min., 2001

3:15 pm "Strawberry and Chocolate" - This moving and groundbreaking film was the first to deal openly and directly with homosexuality, 1994, 108 min.

5:15 pm "Maestra" - An inspiring telling of the 1961 Literacy Campaign, with interviews of nine woman who, as young girls, taught in the campaign. A film by Catherine Murphy. 33 min.

6:20 pm "Rogelio Martínez Furé, A Cuban Griot" - Portrait of writer, Africanist, scholar of folklore, and founder of the National Folkloric Ballet of Cuba. Director Juanamaría Cordones-Cook will introduce her film in person. (2014), 30 min.

7:00 pm "Memories of Underdevelopment" – An intellectual is caught between his privileged history and the new revolution’s ideals. The classic film by director Tomás Gutiérrez Alea. 1968, 97min.
