A formerly incarcerated Black transgender elder and activist who has been fighting for the rights of trans women of color for over 40 years. Reinas de Los Angeles, by Byron Jose, narrates the oral hysteries of trans women and drag queen performers who bring to life the stages of Latino gay bars in Los Angeles from the ‘80s to present day. Captioned.
