In commemoration of Yom Hashoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day:
Chadeish Yameinu Jewish Renewal and Peace United Church will host a special showing of a film on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Christian pastor known for his wisdom and kindness, who admonished Christians to stand in solidarity with the Jews, stood up against the Nazis and ultimately was executed for his role in plotting to assassinate Hitler.
A discussion will follow the film.
