Historic march for divestment at UC Davis photo essay
One hundred students at UC Davis marched in a call for the resignation of Chancellor Linda Katehi on February 10.
On February 10, 2015, 100 students at UC Davis marched in a call for the resignation of Chancellor Linda Katehi. This historic march stemmed from the ASUCD vote for the UC divestment of corporations complicit in the Israeli Occupation of Palestine the previous week.
After the student vote, the chancellor denounced the resolution in a public statement sent out to all of the student body. The march began at noon in the quad, then proceeded to the coffee house and ended in Mrak Hall with a "die in."
