Learning From El Salvador, created by local director Bob Gliner, explores the recent changes to the country in the areas of education, health care, agriculture and democratic governance and offers a different perspective with implications for helping us solve problems here at home.
Join us for the screening of the film, Q&A with director Bob Gliner, and a discussion about the upcoming elections in El Salvador, which will be critical in determining whether the current government will be able to advance its national agenda of fighting historical and social exclusion that has driven nearly 300 Salvadorans to migrate to the United States each day.
There will be food for sale at the event.
