One Billion Rising Santa Cruz

A free and family-friendly Community Fair at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History starting at 1:30p on Saturday, February 14th, 2015 and running till 4:00p. We'll have music, dancing, children's art, teen workshop, men's panel, poetry slam, performance art, free goodies, plus a few surprises!

The Community Fair at the MAH will be preceded by a march from 1:00 - 1:30 down Pacific Avenue from Cathcart St. to Cooper St. This march is a visible way for people to show their support for the issue of prevention of violence against women.

One Billion Rising Santa Cruz is a collaborative event that brings together many of the organizations in our community that are working on solving the different aspects of violence against women.

COMMUNITY FAIR at Abbott Square (Cooper St. and Pacific Ave.)

2:00 – 3:00 Performance Art and Singing

3:00 – 4:00 Dancing, Poetry
