Schmooze:
- Meet people who traveled to Cuba with Pastors for Peace or the Alliance of Guama and Santa Cruz County.
- Learn about the plans for next summer’s Pastors for Peace Caravan.
- Hear about a proposal to establish a Santa Cruz friendship city with Cheverico, Cuba.
- Get information about current regulations on travel to Cuba.
Party:
- Dance to Cuban music with our favorite deejay and Cuba activist, Brett Taylor.
- Bring munchies or dessert to share
Special Guests:
- Ellen Farmer, co-founder of the Alliance of Guama and Santa Cruz County
- John Waller, former national coordinator of Pastors for Peace Friendshipment to Cuba
- Eric Thiermann and Marigold Fine, videographers who recorded our visits to Guama.
- With a special message from Congressman Sam Farr
Suggested Donation $5-10 at the door with a request for donations to the Caravanista Scholarship Fund.
