March For Black Community Control Of The Police!

ON JANUARY 17, 2015, AT 12 NOON AT THE OAKLAND UHURU HOUSE, THE UHURU MOVEMENT IN OAKLAND, CA, IS CALLING ON A MARCH FOR BLACK COMMUNITY CONTROL OF THE POLICE.


After the non-indictment of Darren Wilson, the killer cop who murdered Mike Brown in Ferguson, MO, the brutal murder of Eric Garner by New York police, the murder of 12 year old Tamir Rice by Cleveland police, we see the war on African people escalating.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

WE MUST HAVE BLACK COMMUNITY
CONTROL OF THE POLICE!

Black community control of the police is a democratic demand. It means we would have the power to hire, fire, discipline, fund, and train the police.

We can create Community councils that would have this responsibility.

We need every African man, woman and child to be a part of this march!
