Oakland Town Hall Meeting on Police Killings (1 of 2)

by Ed Rippy
OAKLAND, CA 12/17/14 -- Hundreds of people showed up at a town hall meeting on police violence held by Black Elected Officials and Faith Leaders at Bebe Memorial Church. They voiced their pain and anger as well as ideas on how to stop the police killings. Eight federal, state, and local officials were there, and Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson (District 5) emcee'd. He promised that suggestions from the forum would be compiled and available on the Web. (The sound is really bad, sorry.) Video highlights (14:33)
